  1. Check with the cemetery for all rules and regulations associated with the burial plot - Note that rules and regulations may vary from section to section within the cemetery.
  2. Collect vital information for the headstone - Names, Dates, Photos - Make sure to double check the spelling of the names, accuracy of the dates and quality of the photos.
  3. Finalize the place where you want the headstone to be shipped to and make sure they are capable of handling heavy objects and willing to do it for you.
  4. List the most significant memories of your loved one. It can be multiple pages long but dont leave out any.
  5. Browse through our design book for ideas regarding various headstone options.
  6. Choose a headstone option and the granite color that you like and meets the cemetery criteria.
  7. Choose the design template of your choice.
  8. Enter the headstone information, upload photos in our design tool. Our design tool will render a layout based on your choices.
  9. Double check the layout for accuracy of the names, dates and check again for any typographical errors. We will not make any changes after the layout is approved.
  10. Buy and pay for the headstone after entering the billing and shipping information.
  11. We will send you a confirmation email acknowledging the receipt of your headstone order.
  12. We will process the order within 4 weeks and ship to the shipping address that you provide us.

We hereby certify that your Memorial is made of the highest quality granite quarried by our network of companies from our own quarries, or purchased from other quarries, and specifically selected by us for its outstanding natural color and uniform grain. Our granite blocks are personally selected and inspected by our highly skilled employees in our factories. Our stones are of the best quality in brilliance of natural color, uniformity, and clarity of natural grain. We certify that after sawing and polishing these granite materials, our quality inspectors will upon inspection ensure that we have chosen only the very best of the finest granites to produce your memorial. You will not find any stone equivalent to the quality of Headstone Outlet.
We certify that your Headstone Outlet headstone will be crafted using the finest methods of high attention finishing, fine steeling, edging, hand tooling, hand polishing, carving, etching, and sculpting. We certify that Headstone Outlet will replace without charge any headstone should it crack, check, flake, discolor, or prove defective due to natural causes. This warranty covers completely all aspects of the memorial as produced by Headstone Outlet, up to and including granite, finishing, sandblast, etching, and sculpting.
Headstone Outlet is not responsible under any circumstances for any damage to or staining of the memorial resulting from acts or omissions of any kind other than acts or omissions of Headstone Outlet covered by this warranty. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Headstone Outlet is not responsible for cleaning accumulated dirt or other material coming in contact with the memorial or their effects, vandalism, theft, war, flood or other acts of God, environmental or atmospheric conditions, or the act or omission of any party including the purchaser.
This full warranty extends to the original purchaser, the purchaser's heirs or assignees. This warranty is valid in perpetuity and becomes effective upon the date when the terms and conditions of the purchase agreement have been met between the purchaser and Headstone Outlet. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.This warranty does not include vases of any material, porcelain photos, or litho chrome paint in letters or carvings.

Common LTL carriers will call a day ahead to schedule a delivery appointment. They will bring the shipment within the scheduled delivery window. Inside Delivery - Delivery to inside the house, building, specific location other than the closest place near a paved road
Free assistance with filling in papers that are needed for cemetery approval. You contact the cemetery and we will fill in the papers and send them back to you. We do not offer cemetery setting or installation services. You will have to talk to the cemetery or the funeral home to arrange for the installation.
Free and unlimited changes to layout if you choose to ask for design revisions. Change to engraving information or delivery location after the order is approved
 

How do we ship?

Products weighing less than 150 lbs
We use UPS and FedEx to ship all products that weigh less than 150 lbs. The headstones will be packed and protected using thick styrofoam and cardboard boxes. Some of our products will need multiple people to assist in lifting and moving the product. Please make sure there are enough people available to help with moving the shipment after the delivery. UPS / FedEx will deliver the products at the front porch or near the garage whichever has the closest access. They will not deliver inside the building.

Products weighing more than 150 lbs
We ship all heavy products that weigh over 150 lbs through common shipping carrier trucks. We pack and palletize the products safely and securely. The delivery trucking company will contact you for a delivery appointment before bringing the shipment to you. They will come in a truck equipped with a lift gate to unload the shipment from their truck. They will need a person 18 yrs or older to receive and sign for the shipment. It is your responsibility to move the headstones from the pavement near the road. Delivery trucking companies will not bring the product to any place other than the closest paventment near the road.

 

Rush Order Processing

All our in stock orders are processed within 4 weeks from the time of approval and payment. If you are in need of the headstone faster than the standard order processing time we offer a 3 week rush order processing for additional charge of $100.00, 2 week rush order processing for additional charge of $250 and 1 week rush order processing for $450

Call us for even faster expedited order processing. For most of our in stock items we can turn things around in as fast as 2 days and ship to you with expedited shipping options depending on where you are.
